We have money set aside for folks looking to start or continue an event, project, or movement which aligns with our political mandate. Information about applying can be found here. This money is there waiting for you, if you would benefit from it, please apply!

We provide free catering for events that align with our political mandate, don’t have a budget for catering, and would be made more accessible by the presence of food. In the past we've worked with Black Students' Network of McGill, Sexual Assault Centre of the McGill Students' Society (SACOMSS), Rad Frosh, Project 10, and many others. We can and will continue to do so! Fill out the form to apply!

GARDEN (SEASONAL)

MK operates a garden near the Burnside building during the growing season. The bulk of our garden harvest is redistributed or used in our solidarity servings. If you are looking for an opportunity to learn about urban farming and grow with us, click here to visit our garden page for details!

EMERGENCY GIFT CARDS

suspended until further notice

We are also offering free grocery cards for McGill students who could benefit from additional financial support in accessing food. You must be a McGill student to be eligible. Unfortunately, you can only apply once to receive an electronic gift card. Apply here! Please allow for some delay in response as our wonderful but small staff team are managing many tasks, thank you!

EDUCATIONAL EVENTS

We continue to host workshops and lectures online on topics ranging from food preparation to food apartheid, and everything in between. They will always be: FREE, and ACCESSIBLE. We post our upcoming events on our Facebook, like and follow our page to stay up-to-date. We're always open to collabs, so keep us in mind if you're looking for logistical support in making your dream event a reality!

VOLUNTEERING

Volunteers can help out in the kitchen, the garden and with event planning. Recruitment is typically at the beginning of each semester. Click here for more information.
