Midnight Kitchen

Midnight Kitchen is a non-profit, worker and volunteer-run collective that operates out of tio’tia:ke (unceded kanien’kehá:ka territory) dedicated to providing accessible food to as many people as possible. We aim to empower individuals and communities by providing a working alternative to current capitalist, profit-driven systems of food production and distribution.

Please note that while the SSMU building is under renovation, we are unable to provide our daily lunch service. Throughout the Fall and Winter we are running weekly meal pick-ups and a food bank, as well as free activities and events. We continue to offer Solidarity Servings and Discretionary Funding. In the Spring and Summer months we will be gardening on campus! Read the update on our programs and services here.

What We Do

We serve by-donation, bring-your-own-dish, vegan lunches, Monday to Thursday, at 12:30PM in room 302 or the 4th floor lounge of the SSMU building, at McGill University.

Lunch servings are not occurring during the SSMU building renovation period.

We also offer solidarity servings and discretionary funding to campus and community groups that align with our mandate.

Don't forget to check out our weekly meal pick-ups, food bank, and free events!
